Mother Teresa

The 100th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, was observed today.

The 100th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, was observed today. The Albanian-born Catholic nun had worked tirelessly in the service of the poor, sick, orphaned and destitute in Kolkata and other places for nearly half a century. A special Mass was held today at the Kolkata headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, the order of nuns which Mother Teresa founded six decades ago.
The 100th birth anniversary of Mother Teresa, who won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, was observed today. The Albanian-born Catholic nun had worked tirelessly in the service of the poor, sick, orphaned and destitute in Kolkata and other places for nearly half a century.
