Scholarships

Being launched by the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW), the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India in honour of Dr. Har Gobind Khorana, who won the Nobel Prize in 1968 for his work at the interface of chemistry and biology while a member of the UW faculty, will provide opportunity to Indian students to undertake research at University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW) for a period of 10 weeks. Program dates May 20-July 31, 2009. Last date for Applications: March 31, 2009

Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), Department of Atomic Energy, is offering associateships to work on R&D programmes of national importance relevant to the department's mandate. Apply before March 1, 2009.

Formerly known as Inlaks Foundation, offers scholarships, awards and grants to young men and women under 30 years of age either in the form of academic scholarships (except in engineering, computer and management sciences and MPH) or for travel, specific programmes or "dream projects".
