Ausaf Sayeed appointed as Ambassador of India to Saudi Arabia

Dr. Ausaf Sayeed, presently High Commissioner of India to Seychelles, has been appointed as the next Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Dr. Sayeed, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the 1989 batch, is expected to take up the assignment shortly, a press release from the Ministry of External Affairs said.
The Ministry also announced the appointment of Kishan Dan Dewal (IFS:2003), presently Deputy High Commissioner of India to Mauritius, as the next Ambassador to Armenia.
B. S. Mubarak, (IFS:2001), presently Ambassador of India to Guatemala, has been concurrently accredited as Ambassador to El Salvador, with residence in Guatemala City, the release added.
