Viraj Singh appointed as Ambassador to Tajikistan

Viraj Singh, presently Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) here, has been appointed as the next Ambassador of India to Tajikistan.
A press release from MEA said Viraj Singh, an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) officer of the  1997batch, would take up the assignment shortly.
The MEA also said Rajeev Kumar (IFS: 2001), presently Ambassador to Senegal, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Mozambique.
