SpiceJet introduces new flight connecting Delhi to Prayagraj

Low-cost carrier SpiceJet has announced special daily flights to be operated during the Maha Kumbh Mela between Prayagraj (Allahabad) in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
 
The airline has also announced a host of other new non-stop flights and frequencies connecting Hyderabad to Ahmedabad, Bagdogra and Goa. 
 
The flights on the Delhi-Prayagraj (Allahabad) sector are scheduled to operate from January 6, 2019 to March 30, 2019 while the other flights will start from January 10, 2019.
 
Of the eight new direct flights, the ones between Delhi and Prayagraj and Hyderabad and Goa will operate on all day, while they will be operational on all days of the week except Sundays on other routes.
 
The airline will deploy its Boeing 737 – 700 aircraft on the Delhi- Prayagraj-Delhi route while all the other sectors will be served by Boeing 737 – 800 aircraft, a press release from the airline said.
 
Shilpa Bhatia, Chief Sales & Revenue Officer - SpiceJet, said, “We are delighted to introduce a new flight on the Delhi-Prayagraj route. The city stands testimonial to India’s glorious history and rich cultural heritage besides being a key pilgrim destination. And we are sure that this flight and the other flights introduced from Hyderabad and Ahmedabad will offer added options and convenience to our customers.”
