Govt. grants financial assistance to archer Gohela Boro for medical treatment

Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Rajyavardhan Rathore on Monday sanctioned financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to national level archer Gohela Boro for her medical treatment.
The assistance has been given from Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay National Welfare Fund for Sportspersons (PDUNWFS). This is in addition to the financial assistance of over Rs 3.37 lakh already provided to her up to January 2018, an official press release said.
Boro is suffering from systemic lupus erythematosus combined with other multiple disorders.  She belongs to a very poor family in village Amguri in Kokrajhar district of Assam, the release added.
