Prominent artists to participate in Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2018

The organisers of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale, an international exhibition of contemporary art, announced on Tuesday that some prominent names in the art world would participate in this year's edition.

The fourth edition of the exhibition which will be curated by well-known contemporary artist Anita Dube will run from December 12 to March 29, 2019.

Dube visited a total of 29 countries as part of her research in making this edition a grand success.

On her role as a curator, Dube said: "In both the exhibition and the carefully designed interactive spaces, I hope the incredible range of artists and visitors will become active participants and co-producers of the Biennale as a 'knowledge laboratory'."

The Kochi Biennale Foundation (KBF) is a non-profit charitable trust engaged in promoting art and culture and educational activities in India; primary amongst them the hosting of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale.

KBF works around the year to strengthen contemporary art infrastructure and to broaden public access to art across India.
