Two minor earthquakes shake Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh

Two minor earthquakes shook the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh early this morning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
 
The first quake, which measured 2.8 on the Richter scale and had its epicentre at latitude 32.8 N and longitude 76.2 E, occurred at 0323 hours at a focal depth of 5 km.
 
The second tremor, which was of magnitude 4.5 and had its epicentre at latitude 32.8 N and longitude 76.3 E, occurred at 0532 hours at a focal depth of 5 km, an IMD bulletin added.
