Two minor earthquakes shake Himachal Pradesh

Two minor earthquakes shook Himachal Pradesh within an hour of each other this evening, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
 
The first quake, measuring 3.0 on the Richter scale, had its epicentre at latitude 30.9 N and longitude 77.1 E in the Solan area and occurred at 1804 hours at a focal depth of 10 km, an IMD bulletin said.
 
The second tremor, measuring 3.6 on the Richter scale, had its epicentre at latitude 31.4 N and longitude 77.6 E in the border region between Shimla and Kullu districts and occurred at 1908 hours at a focal depth of 10 km, the bulletin added.
