India, Mexico review entire gamut of bilateral relations

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Mexican Foreign Minister Claudia Ruiz Massieu Salinas undertook a comprehensive review of the entire gamut of bilateral relations including political, commercialand trade, financial, technical and other areas to further broaden and strengthen cooperation at a meeting here yesterday.
An official press release from the Ministry of External Affairs said the Ministers expressed satisfaction at the progress in bilateral relations and agreed to exchange high level visits in the near future.
They also discussed important regional and international issues of mutual interest. Ms. Ruiz Massieu also paid a courtesy call on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During her visit, the Mexican Foreign Minister also interacted with the private sector in a business event organized with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and delivered a lecture in the Indian Council of World Affairs (ICWA) on the subject ‘Mexico in the international context and its relations with India’. 
The Minister also undertook a short ride in the Delhi Metro and inaugurated a photographic exhibition called ‘Mexico Is’ in the Rajiv Chowk Metro Station.
