Railways cancel several trains following derailment of Kanyakumari-Bangalore Express

The Railways have cancelled several trains today following the derailment of the 16525 Kanyakumari – Bangalore City Express  between Somanakkanpatti and Patchur stations of Bangalore Division in the early hours of today.
 
A press release from Southern Railway said the following trains were cancelled today:
 
1.     22625- Chennai Central – Bangalore, Double Decker Exp
2.     22626- Bangalore – Chennai Central, Double Decker Exp
3.     12639- Chennai-Bangalore Brindavan Express
4.     12640- Bangalore – Chennai  Brindavan Express
5.     12609- Chennai Central – Bangalore, Lalbaugh Exp
6.     12610-  Bangalore – Chennai Central  Express
7.     12607- Chennai Central- Bangalore Express
8.    12608 – Bangalore – Chennai Central , Lalbaugh Exp
9.     56262- Bangalore – Arakkonam, Passenger.
10.  16519 – Jolarpettai- Bangalore Exp
 
Cancelled on February 6:
 
11.  56261- Arakkonam – Bangalore Passenger 
 
Partially Cancelled Trains
 
Train 12007- Chennai – Mysore Shadabdi Express partially cancelled between Jolarpettai – Mysore on 05.02.2016.
 
Train No 12008 – Mysore Shadabdi Express  partially cancelled between Mysore – Jolarpettai on 05.02.2016.
 
Diversion
 
Train No.16614 Coimbatore - Rajkot  Jn, Exp scheduled to leave Coimbatore at 23.30 on 04.02.2016 is diverted via Tirupattur, Jolarpettai, Katpadi & Renigunta.
