Minor earthquake shakes Gangtok region of Sikkim

An earthquake of slight intensity, measuring 3.2 on the Richter scale, shook the Gangtok regin of Sikkim tonight, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.
 
The quake, which had its epicentre at latitude 27.3 degrees North and longitude 88.5 degrees East, occurred at 1954 hours today at a depth of 2 km, an IMD bulletin added.
