CBI rescues minor girl forced into prostitution in Delhi

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today said it had rescued a 14-year-old minor girl who was missing from Darjeeling since November, 2011.

A press release from the agency said its Anti-Human Trafficking Unit had, after receiving information about the missing girl, conducted an intensive search operation at various places and used special technical methods.
The release said the girl had been recovered from Munirka in New Delhi on February 22.
"Initial enquiry reveals that the girl was brought to Delhi by a boy on the pretext of providing her a job in Delhi. After bringing her to Delhi, the girl was allegedly abused by various persons," it said.
