Presently Air India, Jet Airways/ Jetlite and Kingfisher are operating and approximately 85 domestic flights per week to/from Raipur Airport are operating.

Swami Vivekanand, one of the most renowned spiritual leaders, spent a major part of his life in Raipur.

"Hence it will be apt to rename Mana Airport at Raipur in Chhattisgarh as 'Swami Vivekanand Airport, Raipur" paying homage to the spiritual leader," an official press release added.
