2 goods train collide at Dadri; fog disrupts normal life in UP

Two goods train today collided near Dadri station in Gautam Buddha Nagar district due to fog which has thrown rail, road and air traffic out of gear for the past two days in Uttar Pradesh.
No one was injured in the incident but four wagons were derailed in the accident. While one goods train was coming out from the NTPC thermal power unit, the other one was a container special.
Due to the accident, rail services on the section were affected.
Reports of several accidents between vehicles have been received from Hapur, Ghaziabad, Etawah, Agra and Mathura due to fog.
Railway officials said almost all the trains in UP were running late due to the foggy weather.
Several morning flights at Amausi airport in Lucknow and Babatpur airport in Varanasi have been cancelled.
