6 Sai Baba devotees killed as car overturns in Maharashtra

Six people, including two women, have been killed and five others injured when their car overturned after hitting a road divider at Khardi on the Mumbai-Agra Highway, near Sahapur, the district rural police said.

Police said the deceased were returning to Mumbai from a "darshan" of Sai Baha at Shirdi last evening when the accident occurred.
 
The injured, who include two children and three women, have been admitted to the Thane Civil Hospital and Sion Hospital.
 
The Disaster Control officials identified the dead as Shyamsunder A Shukla, Dinesh Tripati, Shushila K Shukla, Baroti R Tiwari, Rajmani R Tiwari, and Shuas Tiwari.
 
The Sahapur police have registered a case of accidental death and are investigating the case, police said.
