Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan turns 46

Popular Bollywood's actor Shah Rukh Khan, who turned 46 today, was greeted by fans and well-wishers gathered outside his landmark "Mannat" bungalow in suburban Bandra here.

Many of them sang "Happy Birthday" to him and his residence was flooded with top filmdom personalities, waiting to wish him many happy returns of the day.

The actor, who has excelled in romantic and negative roles, has become Hindi cinema's most loved personality after his debut in the TV serial Fauji.

His long list of hits include Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jahenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hain. Mohabbatein, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Baazigar and Darr, films which propelled him to dizzy heights of success.

Shahrukh has also portrayed meaningful and memorable roles in films like Swades, Chak De India and Paheli.

He fulfilled his long-cherished dream of playing a superhero through Ra.One, released on Diwali day.

"I will celebrate the birthday with a well deserved many hours of sleep...thanx for ur wishes. Don't feel older or wiser..," Shahrukh wrote on his Twitter page.
