Three killed, one critically injured in road accident in Uttarakhand

Three people, including a woman, were killed and a woman was critically injured when the car they were travelling in rammed into a dumper parked on the side of the road at Lal Tappar on Haridwar-Dehradun National Highway here today.

According to the police, the car was on its way from Delhi to Mussoorie early this morning when it went out of control and hit the dumper.

Two men and a woman died on the spot and another woman was seriously injured.    The injured woman was rushed to Jollygrant Hospital and her condition is stated to be critical.

The deceased have been identified as Manoharlal Balicha (38), Prashant Sharma (40), residents of Delhi, and Sehnaz (24), resident of Uttar Pradesh. 

The injured woman has been identified as Rupali (30), resident of Uttar Pradesh.
