Assembly polls: PM arrives in Kerala to campaign for UDF candidates

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh arrived in the city today for a day's visit to Kerala for campaigning for candidates of the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) candidates in the Assembly elections in the state.

During his day-long visit, he will address two public meetings at Kottayam and Kollam, and then he leave for Delhi from Thiruvananthapuram.

The Prime Minister, who arrived at the naval airstrip here, was due to leave for Kottayam by helicopter, where he will address an election meeting at Nehru Stadium before flying to Kollam.
