4 more arrested for Netai massacre in West Bengal


The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team, investigating the January 7 massacre at Netai in West Bengal, in which nine people were killed, arrested four people from Garbeta and Salboni yesterday.


Official sources today said that, following raids, the CBI nabbed a number of miscreants from Salboni and Garbeta and after grilling them throughout the night arrested the four, who were staying in the armed camp of the CPM in Netai village.


Superintendent of Police, West Midnapore, M K Verma said the arrested miscreants would be produced before the Midnapore District Judges Court later in the day.


With this, the number of people nabbed in connection with the Netai incident has reached eight.
