Aamir Khan expresses wish to work with Amitabh Bachchan

Bollywood actor Aamir Khan has expressed a desire to work with Amitabh Bachchan when the megastar visited his house yesterday to condole his father Tahir Hussain's death.

"We went across to Aamir’s place and spent time with him and his family. Tried to keep the atmosphere light and cheerful. It was pleasant," Bachchan wrote on his blog.

"As Aamir came down to see us off when we left his house, he expressed - 'We must work together sir .. '. I told him to direct a film. He has such talent for it. He nodded approval," he said.

"But we all know that nods of approval and desire to work together, make good conversation ready to (be) picked up as a headline tomorrow, and nothing more," he added.

The actor remembered Hussain as an "effervescent gentleman, producer and director."

He recalled that his wife Jaya Bachchan had worked with Hussain in "Anamika" with Sanjeev Kumar.
