Ranbir Kapoor goes to NBA in New York

Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, who was in New York recently, took the opportunity to visit his athlete friends from the NBA.

Reports reaching here said the actor received a warm welcome from NBA's most valuable player Kobe Bryant, who gifted him a pair of his favourite sneakers.

Nate Robinson, the 2009 Sprite Slam Dunk contest winner, gifted Ranbir his autographed jersey.

"I heard of stories about Madison Square Garden, but actually being in this place...it was just amazing...I'm still shaking with excitement," the actor was quoted as saying of his experience.
