"Paa", an Amitabh Bachchan starrer about the relationship between a man and his son who is suffering from progeria, a rare congenital abnormality characterised by premature and rapid aging, will release in 700 screens worldwide tomorrow.

The movie will release in 20 countries, including India, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.

Produced by Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited (ABCL) and Sunil Manchanda, "Paa" is distributed by Big Pictures, a part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group (ADAG).

Billed as a sensitive story about the relationship between a father and a son, the film features Amitabh Bachchan as Auro, a 13-year-old boy suffering from progeria. This means that though he is only 13, physically he looks five times older.

The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan as the father of Auro and a young politician. Vidya Balan plays Auro's mother. Others in the film include Paresh Rawal.

The family entertainer has been directed by R Balakrishnan (Balki), who had earlier made Cheeni Kum, also starring Amitabh Bachchan. The music has been scored by Illyaraja while the lyrics are by Swanand Kirkire. The cinematographer is P C Sreeram.
