B N Kumar inducted into "PR Hall of Fame"

Mr B N Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Concept Public Relations, Mumbai, was inducted by the Public Relations Council of India (PRCI) into its prestigious "Hall of Fame" at its third Global Meet here recently.

PRCI said in its announcement that Kumar, known as BNK to his friends, started out as a media professional more than three decades ago when he joined news agency United News of India (UNI) as a reporter.

Later, he was part of the team that set up Ogilvy & Mather PR, now Ogilvy PR, in 1986. He also had a stint with Reliance Infocomm before joining Concept PR at its headquarters in Mumbai in 2006.

Mr. Ad De Visscher, India Head of Shell Technology and Mr.M.B Jayaram, Chairman PRCI, and Mr. Vaughn Richtor, CEO & MD ING Vysya Bank, Mr. Mahesh Joshi Director, Doordarshan and noted Kannada film personality Ms Parvatamma Rajkumar, were amongst those who felicitated Kumar. .
